Thumbs up

Shooting 8mm forum has started A SECOND Kodak Bozo Topic Thread. The wording of the new anti Kodak topic thread implies that the first anti Kodak topic was legitimate when it has proven to be 100% false.

"More Kodak Bozo's" is the title of the latest attack. If the original topic thread involving Kodak and the word bozo was wrong, then this new one cannot be "more".

I would have e-mailed the person who started the second Kodak Bozo topic post, but since my banning from shooting 8mm forum, e-mail info is not accessible to me. And why was I banned? Because I defended anti-American sentiment first voiced by Mr. Jarvies, who's anti American stance was then supported by Mattias and Basstruc, (and a couple others whom I don't remember).

Even after I agreed with Mattias that my viewpoint might be slanted because I have only lived in America, I continued to be attacked on that particular topic thread, and then I was banned.

-----------------

Just a few days before I was banned from Shooting 8mm, I had posted the following positive comments about Shooting 8mm here, on this forum...

Alex, please don?t do this.

I may be wrong but it seem like you are the only one to be offended this much by the posters.

I am open to be nay-said on this but I am pretty sure I am right.

If you posted a reply on Shoot8 over this in anger you would "get the bucket full" once again and picked up a fight.

I suggest you delete this one too and concentrate on what you do best: Filmmaking

We may all have different views on things and sometimes the closest one comes is to agree to disagree unless proven otherwise.

In my view this is the furthest a conflict should be taken on public boards and S8 pr 8mm boards in particualry.

So, have a , relax and shoot film and everbody gets satisfied?

So, Kodak was called a bozo company, incorrectly, and no one seems to mind on Shooting 8mm. I then found that a link has been put to this topic post. (was a link ever put here showing the cool looking super-8 generated letters I have displayed on my forum?)

By this way he'll definitely get more visitors to his own little sandbox. Very sad.

Jukka, if this sandbox is as small as you believe it to be, then I am no competition, and therefore there was no reason for me to be banned in the first place from the shooting 8mm forum.

Unfortunately - exactly what I told in my previous post.
If you delete this post it will stop now. Otherwise "they" will only get anoter reason to hit at you.

Consider deleting it again and do it fast.
You are only causing damage to yourself.

It won?t inflict on Kodak either way.

The most pathetic aspect is that Andreas just sits back and just watches.

The Truth is out there.

I started the 'Bozo' thing.

I sent a film off to Kodak for processing. It was returned as unable to be processed. No eplanation. I quickly learnt, on another group, that it wa because it was a KII rather than a K40.

In the UK 'Bozo' is a mild form of rebuke, and in this case Kodak deserved it for not explaining an action. Actually I sent it back, and as yet have had no reply.

I thought it was you, (the siltec address made me wonder). When I read the original comment you made, you said that Kodak sent back your film with an address to the lab that processes the KII.

That's probably a huge improvement over what Kodak might have done 5 - 10 years ago. I got one of these KII cartridges inside of a movie camera that I bought on ebay. I instinctively knew it was old, old, film, and I researched who would process it.

I think if you check the search function on this forum you may even find a whole topic post devoted to it. So I guess you really believe that Kodak bozo'd the situation.

Gosh, I just don't see it.

Imagine if you had simply made the title..."Did Kodak Bozo my situation?"

That makes a huge difference. Now others can give an opinion, and because you have stated it as a question rather than as a solid fact, the discussion will be free flowing.

That's how a moderator can make a difference.

The KII film probably came to me via eBay and a camera.

In this instance Kodak were Bozos for not explaining their action. That I would have accepted, and even had a go processing it myself to b&w. No doubt it will return again.
